I created this book for my students, then thought you might like to have it, too. It’s for emergent readers (Pre-Primer, Primer, etc.) but more advanced readers might enjoy it, too.
Here are downloadable PDFs for both the book and the Flash Cards (print them on 5×8 index cards.) Spoiler alert: this little book is heavy on turkey and pumpkin pie! (But light on vocabulary: only 12 words).
The text is formatted in line with my Special Reads format: double spacing between each word, large font size, extra line spacing, in a super high focus design. Flash cards are in red to help the brain grasp the information; compound words are split by color.
Be sure to teach the words using the Fast Flash technique!
