READING WORKSHOP DETAILS

I’d love to come spread the word on how to most quickly and successfully teach our learners (all ages) with Down syndrome to read. For parent groups or associations wanting to bring me locally to give my full day Reading Workshops, here are some helpful docs:

    Will you come to IOWA?

    • Natalie Hale

Hi, Stacey- I’m happy to come to Iowa. Typically, the way it works is that parents request their organization or association to bring me in for a workshop. Sometimes, depending on funds, several organizations group together to cover the fee and travel expenses. If you’ll download the 3 PDFs available in this blog, you’ll have all the information you need, and if you have any more questions, just ask! Cheers, Natalie

    Hello Natalie!

We are in Brampton Ontario Canada and would love to find out more on getting you here to teach our parents to teach our kids!! The organization is called Project 321 Peel Down Syndrome Association

How can we find out more info?

    • Natalie Hale

Hi, Paula! Canada is one of my favorite countries to visit, and I’ve spoken in Edmonton several years ago. I’ve sent you an email reply which you may or may not get, spam folders being what they are! If you’ll download the 3 PDFs available in this blog, you’ll have all the information you need, including my international fee (though I would not consider Ontario International as far as travel distance goes). Those 3 PDFs include the workshop abstract/terms/fees, along with my CV and a workshop flyer. I had also attached them to an email to you. Please let me know if you have any other questions! All the best, Natalie

Please can you contact Linwood school, Bournemouth

    • Natalie Hale

Hi, Jackie- If you’ll give me contact information, I’d be happy to, though I wait on invitations from parent groups or educator groups, rather than seeking them out. One thing you might want to pass on to the Linwood school is this: any school, no matter where in the world, which orders my 3-in-1 Bundle (3-in-1 Bundle, on this site) for their school automatically gets screen-to-screen training from me in real time. I train the staff in the use of the program. Please let me know if you have any other questions! All the best, Natalie

My 9yr old is having problems with her reading and I don’t wat to do

    • Natalie Hale

Hi, Monique- If you order my Emergent Reader Bundle (right on the home page of my site), you’ll have all the help you need. Take a look at it. Our kids need a reading program designed for their learning strengths and weaknesses; that’s what Special Reads is. All the best, Natalie

I work on the middle east in a special ed school. Is the talk broadcast, on a webinar or similar that I could listen to remotely

    • Natalie Hale

Hi, Caroline- I do give a webinar series through another organization here, the Down Syndrome Alliance in Action. It is a series of 12 webinars with me that you have access to for a year; you also have access to a personal screen-to-screen training with me for 20 minutes each month.
